Meet Policies
Minimum Practice: Swimmers should come to all practices. Coaches need to be able to assest swimmers stroke skills and position for relays.
Minimum Meets: All swimmers are expected to swim in at least two meets, in order to participate in the County Championship at GA Tech.
Meet Attendance: If you are unable to attend the swim meet, you must still RSVP indicating that you are "Not Attending". Coach's need this information when the meet is being built.
Maximum Entries: Each swimmer may swim 3 individual events and 2 relays, for a total of 5 events per meet.
Volunteer Obligations:
Families must achieve a minimum of 125 volunteer points ( 5 - half Session Shifts) at our swim meets.
If you need to cancel last minute you will need to inform the volunteer coordinator. Use the Contact Us feature and select Volunteer from the drop-down list. Meets are run entirely by volunteers! If you are unable to attend the meet, then someone else needs to fill in for your role in addition to fulfilling their role.
Please review your volunteer roles duties prior to the meet and contact the lead volunteer if you have any questions.
Swimmer Meet Day Check In
All swimmers must check in with the Assistant Coaches and report to their Bullpen age-group.
Swimmers should remain in the Bullpen during the meet. Bullpen volunteers will need to get your children to each of their events. If they are not in the Bullpen, it is highly likely that your child may miss an event.
