Registration and Tryouts
Swimmer Registration and Fees must be Completed Online
Attention:
* Registration fee is not refundable after May 18th, which is one week after practice starts.
* Swimmers who register after May 13th will not receive a free team shirt and a team cap. Swimmers who register after May 13th will pay $30 more for late registration fee. Thanks for your understanding.
RETURNING SHARKS: 2026 Summer Registration opens March 1, 2026. Please review the new practice schedule, meet and volunteer policies when deciding whether to join us again. Returning swimmers from the 2025 season will not be required to tryout.
TRYOUTS and NEW Swimmer Registration: New swimmers may register online starting March 1, 2026. Tryouts for new swimmers will take place on Sunday, May 3rd Sunday 1:30-2:30 pm, and on Thursday, May 7th , 6:30-7:30 pm at the Mountain Park Aquatic Center.
During tryouts swimmers are expected to be able to swim the freestyle stroke across the full 25 yards of the pool unassisted. If swimmers are unable to swim the length of the pool unassisted, the coaches will recommend that they spend the year in lessons to prepare for next year. The swim team is very popular, and new swimmers will only be able to try out on new swimmer tryout days. All swimmers are expected to participate in team practice days and compete in swim meets.
Equipment for tryouts: All children need to wear a swimsuit and ideally goggles. If your child has long hair, you may want to bring a swim cap (MPST recommends caps for all swimmers). Please bring a towel.

2026 Registration and Season Tasks
