Hello, New Sharks Family, 

1, Please send your swimmer's birth certificate to us before the tryout.  Put your child's NAME as the file name such as " Amy's Birth Certificate" ;

2, Tryout dates: April 27, 2022 - 7-8:30 pm and April 30, 2022 - 12-2 pm at the Mountain Park Aquatic Center. Information regarding the new family tryout can be found on the home page of the website. For your convenience, see below: 

During tryouts, swimmers are expected to be able to swim the freestyle stroke across the full 25 yards of the pool unassisted. If swimmers are unable to swim the length of the pool unassisted, the coaches will recommend that they spend the year in lessons to prepare for next year. The swim team is very popular and new swimmers will only be able to try out on new swimmer tryout days. 

Equipment for tryouts: All children need to wear a swimsuit and ideally googles. If your child has long hair you may want to bring a swim cap (MPST recommends caps for all swimmers). Please bring a towel.
