Hello sharks’ family,

Some parents asked about our coaching team. On our website under home, click the “coach” icon, and you will see all the information about them. Here is some brief info:

1. In the year of 2016, Dylan, Andy, Josh, Alex, and Bill swam on two relays together as 11–12-year-olds for MPST and won both at the Summer League County swim meet. Six years later, they won the 2022 County and State Championships together at Parkview, while Dylan went on to win the NCAA DIII National Championship with Emory. Four coaches plan on continuing their athletic careers at the DIII and DI levels.

2. Coaching experiences: both head coaches taught swimming lessons and coached stroke clinics at Gwinnett Aquatics for years. Several coaches are/were the captains of the Parkview swimming team. All coaches have years of swimming training in clubs or schools. They love working with young children and love sharing their advice for success.

3. Out of the water, our coaches are just as successful. Coach Andy has been the Valedictorian for four years in Parkview High School and was recognized as the Star Student in the year 2022. Check the Coaches page for more information about their future plans.

4. All the coaching team started their swimming career as Mountain Park Sharks. They decided to step up when they found out the team would be gone.
