Last Duel Meet this Thursday

Hello Sharks, 

Thursday is our last Duel meet.  Warm-up from 5:20 to 5:50 Pm. The meet begins at 6:00. Please be there at 5:05. War up is very important please do not miss it. It is an outside pool with only 4 lanes. Please prepare yourselves accordingly.  See details from the hosting team: 

Pool Location: 853 Angevine Court SW, Lilburn

Visiting Team Warm-up

  • Visiting team’s planned warm-up time is 5:20-5:50
  • Timers and Stroke & Turn Judges meeting will be at 5:40 on the pool deck
  • We will be hosting a couple bubble heats for our little swimmers. We expect those to start at 5:55, just after the National Anthem.
  • Meet begins at 6:00

Bubble Heat

  • If you have any swimmers that would like to participate in a bubble heat, please send us a list of their names and we will coordinate with our group.
  • Again, bubble heats are planned to take place from 5:55-6:00
Parking
  • We will reserve 2 spots in our parking lot for your team's leadership
  • Additionally, if you all know of a handicap spot need, please let us know in advance so we can mark an extra space
  • Please ask your families to only park in painted spots in the parking lot (absolutely no curb parking) and to abide by the No Parking signs throughout our neighborhood--no parking in grass and only parking on one side of the streets
Visitor Seating
  • When entering the pool, the visiting team’s area is on the left. Teams usually reserve tables for coaches and older swimmers. Parents are reminded to bring chairs.
Team Staging Areas
  • Dual-team Bullpen (4 rows) is to the left of the blocks; this is essentially a pre-staging area
  • Dual-team Staging (2 rows) is directly behind the blocks
Volunteers
  • We are a 4 lane pool, so will need 4 Timers, 1 Back-up Timer and 2 Stroke & Turn Judges from your team (double if breaking into shifts)
  • If you have other volunteers that you'll be bringing, we're happy for them to work alongside our volunteers
Verifier/Ribbons
  • Your Scoring/Verifier and Ribbons volunteers can go to the Pavilion and meet with Daniel, where we'll have our computer and ribbons stations set-up
  • Let us know if you'll be bringing a team computer for verifying scores or if we need to print records to work from
Concessions
  • Our concession stand offers dinner items such as hamburgers/cheeseburgers, hot dogs, nachos, baked potatoes, chips, candy and drinks
  • We accept cash and debit/credit ($5 minimum)
  • Our deck can accommodate small personal coolers, but please ask parents to not bring large coolers, and no glass or alcohol
