Volunteers, Please see below when and where you need to check in and be there on time.

Address: 1210 Providence Drive Lawrenceville, GA 30044

Welcome Sharks to Marlin territory! We are looking forward to a fun and exciting experience for all our swimmers and families. The following will provide your team with some helpful information.

Schedule

We are celebrating our seniors and will be doing this at the midway point of the meet. Please ask your families and swimmers not to enter the pool gate before 4pm as volunteers are setting up the pool deck for the meet. The visiting team’s warm up time will be from 5:25 – 5:50pm.

parking

Please park on the pool side of the street – there will be signs indicating this or look for which side of the street everyone else has parked on. Please do not park in areas that have cones placed. Please be respectful of neighbors and do not block driveways, walk through yards, or leave trash behind.

Visiting Team Area

As you enter the pool, our visiting team area is on the left side of the pool. All spectators should bring folding chairs to sit on. There is a little sun in that area for about 45 minutes, so sunscreen and hats are recommended during warmup. Walkway space should be left on the side of the pool and plenty of room for timers, judges, swimmers, and walking space on the turn end.

The Sharks Bullpen will be in the gazebo at the end of the sidewalk just below the tennis courts. Swimmers will enter the main gate and walk behind the Marlins to the staging area located along the backside of the clubhouse.

Heat Sheets & ResultsThere will be no paper heat sheets for sale at the meet. But FC will post results on sheets of paper next to the entrance/exit to the pool area as they are available.

VolunteersTimers will meet at 5:40pm inside the clubhouse. Stroke and Turn Officials will meet at the same time near the blocks and starter’s table.
Our computer volunteer will be set up in the clubhouse along the right side of the building.

Concessions

Like most teams, the Flowers Crossing Concession Stand is the team’s primary fundraiser for the season. We appreciate you dining with us and supporting our team. We accept cash and Venmo. This week’s menu: Chick fil A, Dogwood Pizza, Baked Potatoes, Walking Tacos, and Nachos. We will also have a variety of drinks as well as chips, candy, and Kona Ice.

Meet Etiquette

We ask that the teams be respectful of the visitor’s area and dispose of all trash at the conclusion of the meet. Due to the volume of families in the pool deck and to ensure swimmers can hear the starter instructions, please do not play any music, movies, etc. from your mobile devices or use noise makers. The pool area is a no smoking or vaping, and glass free facility.

Inclement Weather

During inclement weather, all swimmers and families are required to clear the pool deck and return to their vehicles to safely wait out the weather until further notification via a Swimtopia or Remind alert.

Look forward to seeing y'all Thursday!

Thanks,

Crystal Silvers
