GCSL Championship Weekend kicks off tomorrow- key details

Parents- It's hard to believe we are rounding the corner to our last weekend of the 2023 summer swim season. This coming weekend will be an exciting one for sure as we cheer on 2059 swimmers competing @ Ga Tech. The meet will be run by approximately 350 volunteers this weekend and 11 dedicated board members that have been planning for this event since August of 2022. Below is some key information for those attending. Meet Programs/Heat Sheet:
- $12 CASH ONLY- first come, first serve. We have limited quantity
- Pre orders can be picked up in the lobby.
The program tributes our graduating Seniors, team ads, heat sheet & league information. Volunteers: each team is assigned responsibilities for each session. Many hands make light work! If you are not assigned a volunteer shift but eager help, please email @ [email protected]. ALL helpers will see their swimmers- no one will miss out. OUR LEAGUE SPONSORS Check out the lobby and spectator hallway to thank our local sponsors. Through their generous contributions, these businesses and organizations have helped us serve local children for 50 years!!
- Reddiset- will have a blowout sale on swimsuits in the lobby. Tech suits (all ages) are also available at a deep discount. This is your one stop swim shop.

- Swim Atlanta, Dynamo, and Spartans Aquatic Clubs will be on hand to speak to you about their year round swim programs. There is a spot for everyone!
- Georgia High School Water Polo Association will have information about water polo opportunities for swimmers starting in the middle school grades through high school.
Seating:
- All seating is first come, first serve.
- We ask that families be respectful of the limited space with such a large number of swimmers in each session. We encourage swimmers to bring no more than 2 spectators when possible.
- Georgia Tech Security will control handicap seating and prevent spectators from clogging the aisles.
- Handicap seating- check in with Ga Tech desk near the elevators. The desk attendant will issue a pass for the handicap section.
Deck Access:
- Only swimmers & certain volunteers will be allowed on the pool deck.
- For younger swimmers, your team should have a plan to meet at a designated spot & time to walk the swimmers on deck.
- Please allow enough time to arrive in time. ATL traffic is unpredictable. Ask your team coaches/ team rep for your team’s plan and method of contact during the meet.
