Good morning,
Below is the information from our opponent team regarding the AWAY MEET on Thursday, please read it and prepare your swimmers accordingly:
Hi Mountain Park Swim team, The Stingrays are excited to welcome you to Cedar Creek for this week's meet. Here is all the 'need to know info' for visiting us, We will be celebrating Swim Across America Night, so please wear Red, White & Blue.
Pool Location: 853 Angevine Court SW, Lilburn 30047
Timing
- Please ask your team to arrive no earlier than 5PM, as we will be completing pool set-up before then
- Visiting team’s planned warm-up time is 5:20-5:50PM
- Timers and Stroke & Turn Judges meetings will be at 5:40 on the pool deck.
- Meet will begin at 6:00
- There is 1 handicap spot in our parking lot for your team (if additional are needed, let us know)
- Please tell your families to not enter the parking lot to drop-off swimmers--there is no space to turn around; swimmer drop-off is at the top of the pool driveway/entrance
- Please only park in painted spots in the parking lot (no curb parking) and please abide by the No Parking signs throughout our neighborhood--no parking in grass and parking only on one side of the street
- When entering the pool, the visiting team’s area is on the Left. Teams usually reserve tables for coaches and older swimmers. Parents are reminded to bring chairs.
- Feel free to also use the grassy area outside the fence for seating
- Dual-team Bullpen (4 rows) is to the left of the blocks
- Dual-team Staging (2 rows) is directly behind the blocks
- We are a 4 lane pool,
- If you have other volunteers, we're happy for them to work alongside our volunteers. Bullpen and Staging assistants would be especially appreciated to help ensure our swimmers stay organized.
- Your Scoring/Verifier and Ribbons volunteers can go to the Pavilion and meet with our Head Computer, Daniel, where we'll have our computer and ribbons stations set-up
- Our concession stand offers dinner items such as hamburgers/cheeseburgers, hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy and drinks
- We accept cash and credit cards ($5 minimum)
- Our deck can accommodate small personal coolers, but please ask parents to not bring large coolers, and no glass or alcohol
