WARM UP

Please plan to arrive at the facility at 5:20 PM. The gates will not open before 5:20, please make sure your families are aware of this. The visiting team’s warm-up will be from 5:50 PM to 6:10 PM. Timers and S&T judges will meet at 6:00 PM at the starter’s table located at the blocks-end of lane 1 (the closest lane to the entrance). The meet will begin promptly at 6:15PM.

FACILITY

Briscoe Park Pool is a community pool with six-25 meter lanes. There is ample parking at the park around the pool area; PLEASE be sure to only park in designated parking spots. This is a public park, and you can and will be ticketed/towed for failing to follow the law. All curbs painted yellow are fire lanes and must be kept clear. As it is a public park with community access, please refrain from bringing valuables to the pool/park; they would best be kept safe at home. We use the guard area, located to the immediate left as you enter the pool area, as our office where volunteers tasked with running the computer will be working and where ribbons may be worked on during the meet if you choose.

CONCESSION STAND

Our concession stand is located to the immediate right as you enter the pool. For this meet we will be serving pizza, chips, candy, and drinks (water, soda, Gatorade). Our concession stand is set up to accept electronic payments or cash with exact change. The Supersonics would like to treat your team’s coach(es) to a complimentary combo meal of their choice from our concession stand. Vouchers for your coach(es) to enjoy a combo will be delivered in your paperwork packet; please let us know how many your team will need as soon as possible.

TEAM AREA

As you enter the pool, our visiting team area is in front of you to the right, on the grass in the far right-hand corner of our pool area. It is recommended families bring blankets, etc. to sit on; there is a limited amount of concrete space. There is no shade in that area, and canopies are welcome (and even recommended). Our pool deck has no permanent seating, so families are reminded to bring chairs.

FIRST AID

If needed, first aid may be obtained at the office/guard area immediately to your left as you enter the pool through the gate.

HEAT SHEETS

We will not have heat sheets for sale; please encourage your families to access them digitally or print them at home before the meet.

SPIRIT NIGHT

Our meet together on Thursday will be Superhero themed, so feel free to encourage your families to bring the fun with all of their favorite superhero’s super-powered looks!

INCLEMENT WEATHER

During inclement weather, all swimmers and families must completely clear the pool deck and return to vehicles to safely wait out the weather. Please use the council members' and coaches' numbers listed below to stay in contact with us. Should we have to stop the meet early/altogether, our makeup day is Saturday morning.
