Property Damage Complaint on First day

Hey Sharks,

Please see the following from Coach Jeff:

We had a great first day of practice, and it was awesome to see both new and familiar faces back on the pool deck!

However, I do need to address a concern that was brought to our attention by the lifeguards. Unfortunately, we’ve already received a complaint regarding property damage at the facility. Specifically, some swimmers were seen shaking the vending machine, and a piece of it came off. It is unclear whether the piece fell off on its own or was forcibly removed. Regardless, this is both a safety hazard and considered property damage. The swimmers involved have been spoken to directly.

We faced similar issues last year. Not only do incidents like this reflect poorly on our team, but they also put our ability to use the Mountain Park facility at serious risk. Please understand that we take these matters very seriously.

We ask that you take a moment to speak with your swimmers and reinforce that respect for the facility, staff, and team guidelines is expected at ALL TIMES. Any further incidents of this nature will result in the swimmers involved being removed from the team. Please refer to the swimmers' Policy on our website.

We’re looking forward to a fun, positive, and respectful season. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Go Sharks!

Coach Jeff.
