Farewell letter to all Sharks Family

Dear Sharks Families,
As I prepare to step away from my role after four wonderful years working with you all, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each of you.
The past four years have been truly special. Together, we've built a team that is not only competitive in the water but also full of spirit and support. Our team set a record of 10-0 in the past two years and received the division winner award twice in a row. We placed top 10 in the county, and our head coaches were runner-up Coach of the Year in 2022. We won the Small Team Award in 2024. None of this would have been possible without our incredible families and incredible swimmers.
Thank you to all the parents who volunteered their time—your commitment kept our meets running smoothly. A special thank you to those who consistently went above and beyond, often doing more than their share. I’m especially grateful to the families who generously donated to support our team’s growth. Your kindness made a lasting impact.
Thank you to the families who were patient and encouraging with our young coaches. Your understanding gave them the space to grow and gain confidence in their leadership.
Thank you to all the swimmers who work so hard every day to achieve their goals.
I also want to recognize our dedicated board members. You’ve worked diligently, without compensation, behind the scenes. Each of you has taken multiple roles and was always there whenever I needed. I would like to extend a special thanks to our head official, Han LiXia, who has led the team over the past few years.
To our young coaching staff: thank you for your energy, passion, and willingness to step up. You’ve been the heart of our practices and the reason our team gets better and better.
I leave knowing the team is in great hands. The new leadership will do an even better job because they are backed by a well-trained coaching team, and an amazing board that I have full confidence in.
I wish the team and the new generation continued success. May we go further, grow stronger, and always carry forward the spirit that made these past four years so memorable.
