We are so excited to host our next swim meet at the Mountain Park Aquatic Center!

To make sure the evening runs smoothly for all our MPST Sharks, please review this essential guide on what to expect, how to prepare, and when to arrive.

⏱️ The Game Plan (Key Times)

Please note: The pool is open to the general public until 6:00 PM. Expect high traffic and parking lot activity right around our arrival time.

• 6:00 PM: All Swimmers Arrive (Go downstairs to our designated team area).
• 6:05 PM: 1st Half Volunteers Check-In ( check in on the back side where
• 6:15 PM – 6:35 PM: MPST Warm-Ups (Lanes 1–5). Swimmers must be on deck and ready to dive in at 6:15 sharp!
• 6:25 PM: Mandatory Volunteer Briefing (Timers & Stroke & Turn Judges meet downstairs behind the starting blocks).
• 6:40 PM: National Anthem
• 6:45 PM: Meet Begins!

🏛️ Strict Spectator Seating & Deck Policy (Please Read!)

Because our facility is an elite-level indoor competition venue, we must strictly enforce Gwinnett County safety and operational guidelines:

• Downstairs Deck is for Swimmers, Coaches, & Volunteers Only: Parents and general spectators are strictly prohibited from entering the downstairs pool deck.
• Upstairs Bleacher Seating: All parents, families, and spectators must watch the meet from our spacious upstairs spectator bleachers. This area offers an incredible panoramic view of all 10 lanes!
• Swimmer Area: Swimmers will remain downstairs in our designated team area on the pool deck to ensure they don't miss their events. .
• Special Circumstances: If you have an exceptional circumstance that requires you to be downstairs near your swimmer, please contact the team council prior to the meet.

🙋 Home Team Volunteer Shifts

Meets cannot run without our incredible parent volunteers! Please check your sign-ups and note the timing below:

• 1st Half Volunteers: Check in at 6:10 PM.
• 2nd Half Volunteers: Check in at Event 30. The official shift switch will happen at Event 38.
• Timers & S&T Judges (Both Shifts): We highly recommend that both 1st and 2nd-shift timers and judges attend the official briefing at 6:25 PM downstairs behind the starting blocks.

🍔 Support Our Concession Stand

Our concession stand will be fully stocked with delicious options to keep you energized! Stop by the lobby (to the left of the main entrance) to grab:

• Pizza, Mac & Cheese, and homemade foods
• Chips, candy, and sweets
• Cold drinks (Water, Soda, Gatorade)

⚠️ Important: Our concessions are CASH and Zelle only. Please plan ahead and bring cash to support the team!
